While creating new policy documents, or revising current ones, it is possible to submit the amended policies for review by another employee of any type.
During this article we'll discuss the following processes:
Submit for Review
To submit a revision or policy for review, select the Submit for Review button at the top of the screen*:
Next, complete the information on the following dialog:
*Please note, if the button is not visible, select Edit.
From here you can:
- assign your reviewers
- add a review objective asking the person to review a specific part of the policy
- add a required by* date to ensure the review is completed in a timely manner
Finally, select Submit to send the policy to your designated reviewee.
Reviewing a Policy Document
If you have been requested to review a policy document and provide feedback, the way to access these will be from your Employee Hub > Handbook > Policy Reviews section:
Selecting this option will take you to the following screen where you will be presented with all policies that require attention.
To review a policy, select one from the list to open the record and review the details of the document itself.
Once you are ready to provide feedback, select the Review Document button below:
From here, select Edit and then the Reviews tab.
The information available with be related to the current review request and will detail:

Review Objectives
- Any specific objectives for the policy review.

Review Status
- Not Reviewed, Under Review, Reviewed

Required By
- The date the review must be completed by.

Request By
- Who requested the policy review.

Reviewer(s)
- People assigned to review the policy details.

Conclusion
- Any conclusions the reviewee(s) arrive at and wish to convey to the document owner.

Review Feedback
- Any feedback comments that the reviewee(s) may have while reviewing the updated revision. This will be logged as a table of comments when submitted by the reviewee(s).
To progress the document review process, select Review Document to add any comments to the dialog pop-up below:
When you're done, select Submit.
Completing a Policy Review
Once the review and feedback portion of the process has been completed, and all necessary amendments and updates have been made to the policy information itself, you can then complete the review by first adding a comment (optional) to the conclusion field:
Finally, select Complete Review:
You will then be presented with a warning message to advise you that "this will complete the review process and no further reviews can be created or submitted. Are you sure?"
If you are happy to continue, click Submit to complete the process.
